Itinerary: |

DAY 1: USA – DUBLIN
We’ll depart on our overnight transatlantic
flight to Ireland from the U.S. (Inflight meals)
DAY 2: DUBLIN
We’ll arrive in Dublin where we’ll be
transferred to your hotel in the heart of
Ireland’s majestic capital. This afternoon we’ll
enjoy an introductory driving tour to this most
vibrant of Cities including Phoenix Park. This
evening, enjoy a welcome reception with our tour
manager. (2 nights Dublin) (Inflight meals)
DAY 3: DUBLIN
The day will be ours and includes a visit to
Trinity College, home to the World famous Book
of Kells.Then tour the Old Jameson Distillery
where you can see the many steps needed to
create Irish whiskey and sample some. This
evening drive to the Abbey Tavern, where a
delicious dinner of Irish specialties is
finished off with an Irish coffee. Sit back and
listen to the Abbey Tavern Singers with their
repertoire of popular Irish songs - we may even
like to join in! (B,D)
DAY 4: KILKENNY – WATERFORD
We’ll journey south through the "Garden of
Ireland’,and arrive at the Marble City of
Kilkenny. Dominated by a castle at one end, and
a cathedral at the other, Kilkenny is truly one
of the finest examples of a medieval city in
Ireland. Continue onto Waterford for our
overnight. (B,D)
DAY 5: WATERFORD - COBH – CORK
What better way to start our day than a visit to
the world famous Waterford Crystal Factory.
We’ll enjoy a guided tour of the workshops to
see the cutting and polishing of this fine
product and also the excellent display of
trophies and stemware in the showrooms. The town
of Waterford has been described as the ‘noblest
quay in Europe’, and we’ll have time to explore
the streets of this striking town. We’ll then
head west to Cobh. Cobh was the last port of
call for many ships heading to the USA,
including the ‘Titanic’ and the exhibit at the
Heritage Museum depicts the history of
immigration from Ireland to the ‘new world’.
We’ll continue to Cork and our hotel. (B)
DAY 6: CORK – BLARNEYKILLARNEY
We’ll first journey south to Clonakilty and the
nearby Arigideen Heritage Center where we’ll
visit a locals cottage for a traditional Irish
coffee and hear tales of life through the
Centuries of South Cork. Heading north we’ll
arrive at Blarney Castle where we’ll have the
chance to kiss the fabled stone and gain the
“gift of eloquence”. We’ll also have a chance to
shop at the Blarney woolen mills, before
continuing on to Killarney. (B)
DAY 7: RING OF KERRY – KILLARNEY
Today we enjoy one of Ireland’s most scenic
drives, the Ring Of Kerry which winds between
the lofty peaks of the Macgillycuddy’s Reeks and
the magnificent, yet rugged, coastline. We will
be treated to a time-honored Irish jaunting cart
ride along the lakes of Killarney. Tonight enjoy
authentic Irish entertainment at Danny Mann's
Pub (B D)
DAY 8: GALWAY
Traveling North our first stop today will be the
Cliffs of Moher. These incredible cliffs soar
700 feet above the ocean for 5 miles along the
coast, overlooking the Aran lslands. We then
travel to the limestone-rich region of the
Burren known for its natural beauty and unique
geological features. Continue through the rugged
and scenic countryside into Galway, "The City of
Tribes,"and take a brief city tour before
returning to our hotel. (B)
DAY 9: BUNRATTY
Our final day in Ireland will find us touring
Bunratty Folk Park and visiting Durty Nelly’s
Pub. Sip a gettogether drink before driving to
Bunratty Folk Park for a medievalstyle banquet
in 15th century Bunratty Castle. Sit in the
Great Hall for an excellent meal with plenty of
wine interspersed with music and song to carry
you off to the Middle Ages in spirit. (B,D)
DAY 10: SHANNON - USA
After breakfast, we’ll be transferred to the
Shannon airport for your flight back to the U.S.
